If you speak Hokkien, mebbe you would realize that the way to say love or adore is the same way as saying pain (dia). Ever wonder why that is?

for the first time in a week, I feel free...and lighter, as if a burden has been lifted from my shoulder...
I think I am ready to move on, and accept things as they are, accept that we are just not ready to be with each other right now. I remember what he told me once, to take things as they come and that everything happens for a reason...
Suddenly, all of that makes sense now...

Tia = teng (dote), same writing as pain
Anyway, love is pain..perhaps when you can't be together with the one you love..there could be many reasons..but I believe, when one is in love, intially, it's sweet. It is always after the break up then these sweet memories become painful memories.
