  Seven-time F1 champion Michael Schumacher seriously injured in skiing accident

   

  PARIS (REUTERS) - Formula One legend Michael Schumacher suffered a serious head injury while skiing in the French Alps resort of Meribel, French media reported on Sunday.

  The seven-time world champion, who retired for the second time in 2012, has been taken to hospital, Europe 1 and RMC radio reported. Reuters could not immediately verify the reports.

  The German is 44 years old.
