Veteran MediaCorp artiste Huang Wenyong, best known for his role as “Ah Shui” in Channel 8’s period drama “The Awakening” died on Saturday.
SINGAPORE: Veteran MediaCorp artiste Huang Wenyong, best known for his role as “Ah Shui” in Channel 8’s period drama “The Awakening” died on Saturday.
He was 60.
In a statement released to MediaCorp’s artiste management team, his family said Huang died earlier on Saturday in hospital, reported xinmsn.

wonder if the mediacorpse award show will pay tribute to him afterall he has been in a long service contributing to local TV programmes regardless he was a good actor or not.
other TV stations or award shows normally will pay tribute to those deceased artistes. recently, they paid tribute to Leslie Cheung and Anita Mui (this year being their 10th anniversary) in the hong kong film award 2013 last week.
