Dave Brubeck passes on at the age of 92.
An icon of jazz, he was the first to revolutionise jazz by breaking out of the usual 4/4 time and playing with 5/4 time; one of his signatures and a piece which he will be remembered mainly for is Take Five.
Goodbye and rest in piece.
You will be remembered and your music will live in our hearts.
Dave Brubeck (front) worked with a black bass player, Eugene Wright (right), in the '50s, even though it led promoters to cancel many of the band's gigs.
