get china ppl the fark out of our lives.
Tell the fucking PAP, even if they import aliens to vote for them, they will still lose in the long run.
No need for propaganda filth to brainwash us to accept aliens.
PAP can go fuck off.

u now know the lie about bringing down the numbers of foreigners here.
After recent years, local productions just make me sick.. In fact, not just the plots, but the way actors speak, they all sound like china-wannabes, especially jeanette ow... I loved to love her in HOLLAND V! Omg, its such a good show which touches us so deeply. I miss xie shao guang.. In fact, only ‘è·å…°æ‘’ and ‘春到人间’ are my favourite local productions.. For those who dont know, chun dao ren jian has zhou chu ming, ou jing xian.
In fact, i think that our chinese dramas ommitting the usage of singlish is a BIG mistake. Not only it makes them sound weird and awkward(doesnt even sound as good as china people), it makes their expressions either cheesy or tacky. Its becoming plain disgusting. 2009 '当我们åŒåœ¨ä¸€èµ·’, they used expressions like 'tou jia/tou jia niang'.. OMG PLEASE! THE SHOW IS SET IN 1960s! Who used accurate chinese....?? What makes 'æžç¬‘行动‘ popular among us? Simple. The behaviours of the characters. Jack neo, mark lee, henry thia... These people are able to make connections with us audience. Seriously, the usage of dialects makes the conversing between singaporeans so much more natural... and funny.. the funny aspect in gao xiao xing dong is the usage of dialect expressions.. Why are we taking this deep root in us away..?
Recent HK dramas ones like '法è¯先锋 3’, ‘èƒåŠ ç¦禄寿探案’, ‘潜行狙击’, ‘怒ç«è¡—头’, ‘真相’ are not as a big hit as '巾帼æžé›„之义海豪情‘ & '公主å«到‘ still farly surpasses our current supposed big 'hit'(pui!) kampong ties..
Mediacorpse.. buck up.. *sigh*
Don't support.
Long long ago, I gave up

Most singapore chinese in 60s didn't know mandarin. They used their mother tongue dialects.
Once you exclude dialects in a drama set in 50s 60s, the realism is lost already.
It's just another form of government propaganda.
I gave up lo.. Im chasing hk and US dramas.. US sitcoms are great as well.. Oh btw, i saw on the news that 'love thy neighbour' beats the crappy police show in viewers count. A total of dont know how many hundred thousands.. Its not even a million.. the population of SG is 4-5 million.. I dont know whether to feel ashamed or happy that people know what are proper dramas..

Our food courts are overrun, and I don't mean the hawkers.
If Love Thy Neighbour wanted to be any mroe realistic they'd need a Gujerati couple with thick accents. No point only showing Chinkish people as Singapore is multicultural.
