Foyce Le Xuan disfigured in crash

Local singer-actress Foyce Le Xuan was involved in a car accident three weeks ago that has left her with scars on her face and other parts of her body.
She was on the way towards her newly-opened restaurant, Lush, with a friend when the accident happened along Clarke Quay.
The head on collision caused her to be flung forward and shattered glass pieces to fly all over.
Recounting the incident to The New Paper, she said: "It happened so fast I was in total shock. The pain on my face was so acute I thought I was going to pass out."
Le and her friend, who was the driver of the car, managed to take a taxi to Gleneagles Hospital where she underwent surgery for a broken right cheekbone.
The resultant scars on her face have caused her considerable distress.
"I was so distraught that I haven't allowed any of my friends to visit me," she said.
She also added that "I've been so depressed about this because I was going to handle all the marketing for the restaurant in the last few weeks. They will have to be put on hold until I recover."
