  local artistes also need to make a living or earn more money.

  if an artiste aign a contract with a company in exchange for the pay if the terms state they have to take up assignments given to them they have to take. of course there should be terms to protect against offers of dirty jobs lah. all in the contract.

   

  otherwise if one states that the artiste can take up assignments on her own provided it do not coincide with her schedule for any productions then should be okay.
