Music label XYmusic organizes a 'wedding' to marry rumoured lovers Michael Wong and Melody Chiang
It can't get cheekier than this.
To welcome singers Michael Wong and Melody to the label, XYmusic organized a wedding-style event to mark their joining the label.
In an apparent dig at the rumoured couple, the label arranged for the singers to appear at the event dressed as bride and groom. Michael even ended up kissing Melody, 30, upon the host's probing.
Rumours started circulating after the two collaborated on the duet 'I Have Feelings For You' and were caught having an intimate dinner in 2008.
The Malaysian-born Michael yesterday revealed they are such good friends they go on holidays together, but emphasized they "sleep in different rooms".
He said Melody, once the 'ugly duckling' of the Taiwan music scene, is getting prettier and did not rule out a relationship, while she highlighted his culinary skills and high income, saying he's a good catch.
On the closing peck, Michael, 39, laughed, "There's 'welfare' so soon in a new company. So good!"
Melody could only say with a blush, "Very comfortable."
