i think this is a very no substance show.. yucks.. recently kept seeing one preview for this lousy show... abt the yao wen long with one middle age lady having some relationship... like middle age cow eat old grass ar? dunno wats wrong... din even watch 1 episode... full of nonsense..and the michelle chia husband bcome some freak.. joanne peh mum coming out as some disgusting character.. and the suchi cheng kept wearing a weird hat? who in the right mind does tat???. can somebody tell me if u r watching this show and y? cant understand...
anyway.... it may come as a shock but does u all know the taiwan drama 'ai' has actually become the show with the highest rating (No 1 in the rating chart) in channel 8.... meaning tat it is the most watched chinese show in singapore... i m pretty shocked also.. thought singapore ppl always complain taiwan show long and boring... now bcoming most popular chinese show in singapore....
anyway... the lousy weekday 7pm show din even appear on the list... not even in top 5.. can tell how pathetic is this show.... maybe they can stop broadcasting this lousy drama and broadcast the 'ai' on weekday instead to benefit aunties fans....

just watch joanne peh in the show lor... its ending already la... its now already 100+ episodes already.. this show only 180 episodes long... very very fast de la... before national day already over liao...

haiz... i think joanne peh only make the show worse.... think this is the worst long running drama produced by mediacock....they cant produce this type of long running drama la.... not enough talent....
btw... i actually watched the 'ai' today. It is actually a pretty good show. The female actress also pretty.. especially the mingming.. bad daughter in law....
In conclusion i think should just dump this rubbish ur hand in mine show into the 2-3am show slot la....

as for that Monday-Friday MediacorK drama............i only watch it becoz of Pan Lingling.................she may be an oldie but she's still a goldie............

in fact, all Taiwanese shows and i do mean ALL shows..............make me wanna puke...............i rather watch Tamil shows..............

its quite funny as one of malaysia's top comedian are in that show .

well, to begin with this show to me is about family ties which some lessons can be learnt from; anyway it's ok since each is entitled to his/her own views so ya..

besides, if you think they're horrific, just turn off the idiot box, go for a walk or something...

They make everyone in triangle and square love like wtf... blind girl+ freak + washington, news reporter + akido master+ jerk , pulm + water + doctor, stupid girl + 4D+ Psychologist+ lawyer, Policeman + teacher + insurance agent....

the 7pm show is quite crappy really. I only watch becos i wait for chen liping to say "ji dan chao ya dan", watch huang wen yong's miser antics and yao wenlong's underrated acting.

That's why I have stopped watching Singaporean Chinese television dramas since 5 years ago.
The only Mediacorp drama I watched recently is Red Thread.

when i watch the variety shows from japan, taiwan and hk, i think to myself....just what is wrong with us huh? Ours shows really lack creativity. And trust me, 10 years later, u will still see guo liang, quan yifeng, mark lee, bryan wong compering, the leading men are still christopher lee, lee nanxing and tay ping hui.
something is terribly wrong right?
Me thinks it is due to the lack of competition being all under one house.

Programmes by mediacork is hardly "watchable". STandard down the drain most of the time.
