Is marriage a must?

  Do we all really have to get married to be happy and complete our lives?

  We have seen divorce cases going up. Some marriages failed due to financial reasons, some due to infidelity, some due to people realizing that they had got married for the wrong reasons, some due to in laws.

  I personally feel that there is nothing wrong to get married but I think most people get married on impulse. Maybe they think marriage is the key to all happiness in life.

  How many people you know who got married and later regret after the honeymoon period is over?

  Marriage is optional.

  It cannot be banned because of human rights issues.

  just talk to a guy fren's wife

  she threaten to divorce him cos of us chating while playing viwawa mahjong

  I told her not to be so petty abt frens chating online

  ask her to treasure her marriage for the sake of her 3 sons

  I think maybe you shouldnt have done that.........its something personal / internal.......family matter......If I am you I will try to be more patient and apologize.......dont give "advice" if people dont ask you for it....

  Btw Im sure its not just about Viwawa Mahjong only.........thats just one of the many reasons which pile up and make her angry.......

  she feel much better after talking to me

  she ask me y i like her hubby, told her cos he make me v happy

  we can chat like old fren & he help me get over my depression

  Marriage is just like a gambling.

  Either you win or lost.

  Alias, pple still lost, divorce. Mainly due to financial, 3rd party, irresponsible.

  A marriaged couple must share all the things, be it financially or non financially.

  It must not be a one sided things. Both must be mutual understanding, give and take is very vital towards a strong and marriage success.

  I know that marriage is 100% out of the picture with my current girlfriend. Come this 1st May, I'm gonna let her go.  Totally sick of her materialistic, unrealistic, and manganimelistic, and her other lousy traits.

  i believe marriage can still work out but it takes lots of patience, trust, communication, etc.

  After marriage, we all have to work on how to keep the fire alive. Like how to make ourselves still attractive to our spouse. Things get old and we humans tend to get sick of things after they got old. Our spouses will tend to meet new people of the opposite sex who are better than us in many ways so that is a challenge.

  I do want to get married but I just dont know how to trust people anymore. My wife have to be my closest friend and I dont know what am I gonna do if she ever betray me after being everything I could be for her.

  We all can do so much & sacrifice so many for our spouses but there are no guarantees he/she will appreciate it.

  If you don't get married, then someday this relationship will end. If you get married and no kids due to sg's high cost of living, the marriage will end in divorce someday. So to fulfill the universal law of life, get married must have kids. No kidding.

  Even if this happens, People still keep pets as subsitute for kids and treat them like how they treat their children. Just that they are evading the responsibility to have a real flesh and blood coming out of their hole.

  Is maternity, paternity leave for the married only?
