The Apsara Spa(Javanese Style)
Apsara Spa was created from a very deep affection towards the beauty and romanticism.
Apsara Spa treatment uses special recipes that contain various herbals, traditional spices and local exotic flowers.It brings together the total hair, facial and body aromatherapy into one exotic treatment meant to be for the Kings and Queens of Java in the old days.
This extraordinary experience combines six steps of treatment :
Welcoming Treatments (15 minutes)
It will start with washing your feet in a big silver bowl filled with warm water, tropical flowers and special aromatic oils; it be continue with washing hands in a smaller bowl, which later will be used for inhaling seven deep breaths to relax and calm the mind.
Total hair, facial and body aroma therapy massage (2 hours)
The treatment begins with a gentle message all over the body, continues with a tender message for the face, neck and ends with the scalp, using special recipes that contain many herbals, traditional spices and local exotic flowers for the aromatherapy. During this treatment you would be pampered with the romantic rhythm of the Apsara Dancers performance.
Herbal 'or' floral 'or' milk bath (45 minutes)
After second treatment, you will bath in a very relaxing environment together with your couple. You may chose to bath in warm herbal or floral solution or in milk and you will be served with healthy drinks. The treatment aims at softening, perfuming your skin and stimulating blood circulation.
Light Manicure and Pedicure (30 minutes)
This treatment is to beautify the hands, feet and including the nails.
Hair stylist (30 minutes)
During the manicure and pedicure treatment, you will have your hair done in the Javanese traditional way using flowery that specially prepared for hair. It will make your hair softer, thinner and perfunmed. -
Herbal Relaxation
A delighted treatment that smoothens, softens and exfoliates the skin, rejuvenates your body and calms your mind through Javanese Massage combined with Herbal Warm Massage.
This relaxation experience combines five steps of treatment :
Welcoming Treatment (15 minutes)

Traditional Lulur (30 minutes)
The treatment begins with a gentle message and application of natural Javanese herbs "Temu Giring" (Heyana Curcuma) all over the body. This treatment is inspired by traditional wedding ceremony preparation in Java and given to woman each day during the week preceding the wedding day.
Scrubbing (30 minutes)
Once dry, the body is gently scrubbed, then cleaned. This wonderful experience will smoothen, soften, exfoliate the skin and rejuvenate the body.
Javanese massage combined with Herbal Warm Massage (1 hour)
Continues with a traditional Javanese Massage combined with Herbal Warm Massage, a different style of message using a pack of local spices that dip into a steamer pot oil. It will warm your body and stimulate blood circulation.
Herbal Bath (30 minutes)
After having enjoyed the complete message, you will have a relaxing bath with warm herbal lotions with healthy drinks. This treatment use to perfume your skin and stimulate blood circulation. -
Beauty Floral
This treatment will soften, shine and lighten your skin and rejuvenate your body. The treatment uses many secret recipes made specially from exotic flowers and combines traditional Javanese Massage with: the best result for beauty and glowing appearance.
Body Masker
The treatment begins with a gentle spread of special recipes from "Benkoang" (juicy tuber) all over the body, while relaxing your mind and listening to the selected relaxation music of your choice.
Scrubbing
Once dry, the body is gently scrubbed, then cleaned. This wonderful experience will smoothen, soften, whiten and rejuvenate the skin.
Javanese massage combined with Therapist Massage
Continues with a traditional Javanese Massage combined with Herbal Warm Massage, a different style of message using a pack of local spices that dip into a steamer pot oil. It will warm your body and stimulate blood circulation.
Floral Bath
After massage, a relaxing warm bath with exotic floral solution (jasmine, roses, cempakaÂ…) selected for their fragrance and rich colors. A wonderful way to perfume your skin and rejuvenate your body. -

Relaxation / Swedish Massage
Soothing, relaxing, long strokes designed to induce deep relaxation and relief from tension, stress, muscle pain and stiffness. Some instruction on breathing techniques and visualization and Deep Tissue work if indicated. Includes warm herbal neck pillow and cool soothing eye pillow with hot pack to the back if indicated. *And finally to finish off a thoroughly pampering experience, soft music, candles, and Aromatic oils for the senses. -

Esalen
Esalen is a marriage between Swedish massage, with its precise manner of working with muscles and circulatory system, and the deeply personal sensing work brought by the individual therapist and has become a physical/emotional/spiritual human emergence to be sung to through touch. The recipient is gently urged to become an active participant through heightened awareness and surrendering to a deep sensing place. Long, lengthening strokes with gentle rocking and stretching, passive joint movement, sculpting of deep musculature, delicate cranial balancing, all point to a subtle neural reeducation of the body. Personal attention takes precedence over technique; thus each massage session is unique in itself. Esalen massage then becomes a meditation of receiving touch from another as part of a larger picture of richness which puts you firmly in touch with your more personal self. Warm scented oils or lotions are used to deepen the sensual experience through smell and texture. -
Hot Stone Massage
Hot Stones have been used for healing by Native Americans, Aborginies, and many ancient European & Middle Eastern cultures for centuries. This massage uses flat bastalt river stones, beach pebbles, & volcanic stones heated in water to a temperature of 125 degrees. The stones are applied to the body, along with a warm aromatic oil, and are sometimes left on areas such as the sacrum on a protective towel for extra heat infusion. Most of the massage is a combination of Swedish and Esalen, using the stones as a tool for a therapeutic, deep muscle HEAT penetration.
