FANCL is a popular Japanese brand established two decades ago specializing in skincare and cosmetics without harmful preservatives and additives, and currently has 13 stores in Singapore. Today FANCL Singapore has announced through their website that they will be closing all their stores here by end of March as part of their restructuring plan. They will be re-entering the Singapore market as wholesalers only after April 2014.

Issit? Do I look fat?
yes
I think they will continue to sell their products thru Guardian after Apr.
Very unfortunate that yet another high potential international brand has "left" Singapore.
Seriously, Singapore is losing its competition for international brands. Borders, Carrefour and now FANCL had all made quite a right decision to leave Singapore, as Singapore isn't really a place for international brands to enter.
their product really quite good leh! why ah? why ah?
Agree, their products are good, but I think they failed on marketing. Must quickly redeem my points liao.
Maybe Singapore's rent is getting too expensive plus weekday it hard to get customer to do shopping as they are busying working 9-5 job.
re-entering as wholesalers
means can buy from qoo10/blogshops loh
