Not a need, of course. But sometimes, it's good to have variety mah. Everyday buttons so boring.Brown shoes and brown belts are good too, especially for lighter shade of pants.. Ties.. for my position.. not needed
Even my angmoh senior project manager don't wear a tie.. if I wear.. really make a joke out of myself -

And those days....where boys wears white colour dunno what brand baggy until cannot baggy shirts.
The suspenders.....the bright yellow valentino baggy at the thighs but thin at the ankles pants......with LV long wallet sticking out and another comb sticking out another back pocket......
And the pants are rolled up at the hem showing off the ankles with canvas shoes and no socks.

you spend money to buy working clothes eats into the salary you earned. unless you are in a job that requires image, then no choice need to spend on nice clothing.
