  my hair colour now is matte brown plus blonde highlights..

  but e higlights are not equally streaked...my hairstylist chose a layer of hair underneath and bleached it ash green across...so sometimes can see alot of highlights, sometimes dont..q cool like peak-a-boo

  but bleached parts are v drying to the hair..

  i tried revlon and loreal's purple-red shades before

  not bery obvious

  and the purple-red shade fade to brown quite fast

   

  but at least does not make hair bery dry lah

  salon more or less can guarantee the color, or at least close.
  
  if buy DIY must get 2 shades lighter to get the desired color

  Hmmm 2 weeks before CNY I coloured my hair copper with reddish purplish highlights 

  Had it done at Shunji Matsuo and I think they use L'oreal.

  The colours are still very fresh and maybe just slightly faded and I wash my hair everyday.

  In fact my stylist actually asked me if I did anything special to maintain the colour.

  Wow its very difficult to maintain copper colours leh! I also like coppers and reds :D

  but no more dying for nowwwww :D
