i got the card last week, the 2nd day it was launched
activate online straight away get 20 pts
yday i used it for the first time
cos got national day promo
spend $44 nett can get 10% off and 44 bonus pts
some items have bonus pts
if u buy housebrand oso have bonus pts
i think $5 for lifetime membership is quite ok lah
i always go there buy toiletries and misc stuff
so it's quite useful for me
the bad thing is that the 1 pt is awarded for per $5 spent
if u spend $12 today u get 2 pts
if u spend $8 another day, u get 1 pt
(total although $20, it does not equal to 4 pts)
so have to caculate nice nice
every 20 pts equals to $1 which u can use to offset purchases
i currenty have 92 pts -
Didn't get it. No use to me cos seldom go watson one.

huh 20 points is one dollar...
wa..logically have to spent more than 100 bucks to get one dollar offset?
cos if lets say 20pts = 20x5 = 100bucks of purchase..lol..
but not bad lar lifetime..okie can consider hurhur..

It is worth it to join membership.
I made 2 trips today to enjoy the 44 points privilege. Think it is real worth compare it with some cards whereby you spend at certain shops and get 3% rebate. Better than Metro card.

haha cos personally i like to go watsons to shop..on and off, no matter got offers or not will buy...
so got the card, plus its only 5bucks membership and for lifetime..not bad mar..
its 'shun bian' collect points while i shop..
CC diff lar..how to compare...
hopefully they will improve the point system to come lor..

The point system is rather confusing and just now I told the assistant about it.

the things there r expthe only gd thing is that they are near my office

and always looking at dollar value like as if using credit card..

i think the points is quite comprehendable
can always refer to the FAQ at the website
i read and done my calc before i decided to get the card
easy to chalk up points, if u always buy the housebrand items
and oso look out for the promos on other items for bonus points
this can be used with the POSB everyday card
so u can get rewards on both sides -

maybe too many ppl
everyday i go pop in watsons i see ppl buying the card
got sales ppl peddling the card all over the store oso... approach ppl and try to ask them to buy...
seems like quite successful.... -
It is worth the $5 paid for that is why it is so well received.
