Do you carry one?
What does it looks like?
if oredi raining before i get out of the house, i just go into the store room and grab the big auto one...... always get free from bank or insurance agent..... and i have a few of them.......
if not yet rain but i feel tt it's going to rain i carry a compact (more like mini) one in my handbag.....
can tahan drizzle nia.......
dunno from where one...... mom bought and force it to me...... saying tt i shd make it a habit to bring umbrella when i go out....
i dun believe in spending alotta money on umbrella bcos i have a habit of not bringing them home......
always donate to fastfood restorans, cafes......
donated quite a few oredi....
u know.... when it's still wet and u can't put back in bag yet so u put somewhere to air it..... then somehow later 4got or it's out of sight.......
Sometimes i suddenly rber and went back to take........ sometimes totally 4gotten i did bring an umbrella out......
I went and purplely buy those frilly lacey ones recently.
Two big ones from Sasa Cosmetics and two foldable ones from Thailand.
Love those really transparent and really oval shape down transparent ones, but cannot find in Singapore.
The cute part is, my stepmother likes the foldable ones so much, she took them back to Thailand without telling me first.
So now, I have to make another trip up to Thailand to get more of those frilly really girly looking umbrellas again.
Considering I ride or do whatever guy stuff, I seem to develop a taste for pretty stuff, right down to umbrellas!
they sell those in sg....
but freaking exp....
i saw quite a big collection at OG orchard point
some of them are bery asspensive though
Then darn.....I can only stick to cheapo frily lacey umbrellas from Thailand then.
Using one from Dunhill :D
buy one which serves the purposes of shielding from UVB rays, cover from rain
lacy ones hardly serve the shielding
At least, I should get this one.
Which should go very well with this pair of rain boots.
there is a "push-cart" in AMK hub basement i think
with many cute design umbrellas
says "japanese" or "japanese design" or something
I know of someone who bought an umbrella at Isetan for $90+. It's made in Japan and pastel color with lacey stuff at the rim. To me I feel it's a waste to bring my $90+ out to get wet everytime.
saw some 'bottled' umbrellas....but its damn heavy lar..
outside looks nice, just like a water bottle, but inside is a umbrella..good thing about it is no worries about getting the bag wet from the wet umbrella if you cant find plastic bag

i have one of those. looks nice only. not practical.
quite difficult to shove it back into the cover when the umbrella is wet.
oh! cos its plastic bottle and water sticks to it?
wat happens if you twist it while you stick it back into the cover?
Umbrella sales must be up these few weeks.....

Hi alfagal,
There is a chance that you may damage the umbrella. Usually, the best thing to do is to leave it aside just like normal umbrellas and wait for it to dry up before putting it back.
Cheers.
