Hair Styling Products

In need of something good to hold my bangs when I sweep it to the side.
I'm looking for a more natural look... something with medium strength.
What should I be using - gel? wax? clay?

you forgot to mention mist & spray
is it to hold the bangs at the side, with some height on them? or they are smooth and moves around with the hair together.
Or.......they are so stick stiff that when you move your head, the rest of the hair move, but your bangs stay where they are?

Cos I don't want mist or spray
I don't know how to handle them! Mist maybe still okay, but better if I can use something besides mist and spray, heehee.I want it more natural-looking, so erm... move a bit lar, but not too much. And I don't want it so stiff that when the wind blows, it doesn't move at all. And I don't like the hair to look shiny after applying all that stuff, cos I'm going to apply it only to my bangs, so surely it should not look different from the rest of the hair, or it'll be quite odd!
I actually thought maybe I'd buy L'Oreal's Invisi gel (cos I used to use that a long time ago)... then started considering alternatives like wax or clay, but since I've never used them before, I don't know what their effects are like.

I've heard Gatsby products are the most damaging hair styling. I think wax shud be less harmful compared to clay.

apply such products on hair only
dun let them touch your scalp or rub them into scalp unless they are stated to be so -

I have two bottles of hair styling gels from follow me.
One in a jar, another in a pump bottle.
They are good enough to hold in my hair when the hair need to go into a bun or need to be curl into the right direction.
Now with my shaven head, the gels a bit useless. Will wait for a few more months, then will utilise the gels again to keep my hair from doing the afro look.

oh..i just bot a hair spray..lucidol..to hold my fringe..
fringe now is not long not short..cant tuck behind ear but will cover eyes..
i spray onto comb and comb hair..usseful too when i tie my hair into pony tail..'flatens' the short hairs that always sticks out..
8bucks, bot from watsons..and its fragrantless..its supposed to be super hard, but i din put alot, so still okie to me

My bad, I totally forgot to check in on this thread because errrmm....I did indeed shaved off my hair for the Hair for Hope event. So there wasnt any need for hair styling products for a while.
