Nail Polish Colour Matching

Alright, need a bit of help here...I am going to a wedding dinner this Sat so tomorrow going for manicure/pedicure. I am going to be wearing a dark blue cheongsam top with flowery background (flowers are stitched using white thread) and a long black skirt. Question is, what colour should I paint my nails with tomorrow?
The top looks something like this...though the neckline is different. But it is this shade of blue.

simple ones like french manicure will do. add some flowers or diamond studs on it will be nice.

deep purple, like OPI lincoln park after dark
dark blue, like OPI Ink or Light My Sapphire -
think e manicurist can recommend for u too ..
if u really scared, french manicure wldnt go too wrong bahz..

dunno leh..after she applied that bright pink on my finger the last time i went i m a bit wary to ask her for advice >.< But her skill is good...just that it is better to know which colour i want before i go over ba...
french manicure ah...wat colour as base?

nahz..it goes w anything..cos imo, e whole idea of french manicure is to make e hands look 'cleaner'

nowadays french mani is not just pink/beige with white tips
can have other color combis too
be creative!!!
i did light purple base with dark purple tips before
and also dark blue base with red tips
dark purple base with light pink tips
dun have to be so conventional -

But instead of pinkish tips I will change it to bluish tip...

This is nice. Or if you dont want the flowers in the nail, can always do a blue with white tip french manicure. -

Hehe...done by a home nail salon...only cost me $23!

And if anyone is interested, she used OPI Just Teasing as base and OPI Dating a Royal for the blue effect.
