Yep I heard of it before.... I have tried QV (equivalent to cetaphil) before and I don't think my skin likes it either...

Can I ask, esp to all those ladies out there - How u prevent or get rid of open pores on the nose?
squeeze n the pimples go deeper
scrup n the nose goes red itchy n peely

ever tried sticking to be product for a while longer and see if e outbreak persists?cos cetaphil is like gentlest cleanser i used..and its recommended by most dermatologists...
or maybe u can see a doc and see what kind of wash they can give you..

many things causes open pores..hot and humid weather
aging, oily skin etc..
use toner to close e pores..but its only temporary though..
so have to take care..
if squeezing a pimple and it goes deeper, means......or doing it e wrong way. too much pressure le lahz..can squeeze but as long as e pus comes out, stop le..dun press and press till blood comes out lar..will cause scars..
scrub and skin become red and peely? u are too violent already i guess..
go easy...

use a pore-tightening toner might help
when u squeeze, u shd be pushing it upwards, not just try to put all the force into the spot -
God is fair.. curse me with sensitive skin.

squeeze one part and u actually pressing down on the other parts,
I dare not squeeze now after squeezing causes deep n painful pimples......

try pore pack?
have to scrub regularly too
toner is for remove residue (if u have makeup), tighten pores, balance the pH of ur skin, hydration...... -

pimples will come out by itself sooner or later one
u have to wait.....
or u can try rubbing the surround area to coax it out faster...
try not to squeeze lah
apply some blemish gel or tea tree oil to reduce the redness and swell and make it dry up faster
pore-pack is more for blackheads and clogged pores. -

i'm also using st ives. seems to be working out alright for me, though i go for facials (yeah, includes the painful extraction thingy) every 3 weeks or so. -
