Dear girls,
I m thinking of trying out Eyelash extension and really need your advices and experiences.. hehe.
I came across flyers that claim good extension at only $48... reliable?? Becoz i dun really want to burst my piggy bank too. Anyone tried those cheap promo before?
is it troublesome to maintain the lashes?
Pls post your experiences and tips here! Thanks so much fellow Chio Babes :)
Huh why is this in noiseology??
Seriously...i have only been hearing horror tales about Eyelash extension...
1.) The "glue" used may be sensitive to the eyelid, may cause irritation and inflammation.
2.) You need to be disciplined to not rub your eyes or wash your eyes often as it will cause the eyelashes to drop off easily or irritation to your eyes.
3.) Your natural eyelashes may actually drop off together with the fake ones and it may cause a slower growth of your natural eyelashes.
4.) Thinning of natural eyelashes.
5.) Visible and obvious pores (i dun really know how to describe it) on your eyelids which looks pimply.
The only good thing about it is that you need not apply mascara everyday...and wipe it off...but i feel...natural beauty is always the best...=) hope that you would reconsider your choice.
Oopss, which category would be a better one to post this? Browsed through n finally decided to post it here since Noise is about everything? hehehe.
And wow.. really sound scary for the extension...imagine thinning of the already short n straight lashes... if really drop off i will kill myself lor...
Sighz..... how huh.. sad.

Should post in PTT pte ltd =) or chit chat is also ok =) haha its ok...since its here...
Hmmm...yeah...the part about the thinning and dropping off of the actual lashes sounds pretty freaky to me already... well you can try using fake lashes...but trimming them alittle...you would still require to use glue though...i'd rather you stick to mascara...but you need to have a good eye make-up remover for them no matter what =)
u can refer to our resident long eyelasher, Ms Pitot
she will tell you more
if she doesnt answer here, pls pm her
why go for extensions when falsies (false eyelashes) are the IN thing.
$15 for 10 pairs in BV
many many patterns
and if u know how to paste properly, it looks very natural!
tried the false lashes twice... and succeeded only once..lol
had a hard time glueing it leh..
maybe my eyes kinda longlish n big, so when i read that we should cut abit of the lashes to suit our eyes, i was feeling confused...coz i think the lashes seemed abit too short...as it not able to cover from both ends of the eye.
You can check the length while looking at the mirror, then estimate and cut...do all this w/o placing the glue...
lashes are not meant for end to end
it should be about 3/4 of the eye
from the inner side (a bit away from the inner most corner) to the outer corner
takes a lot of patience and practice
but once u are used to it, pasting falsies can be done in less than 3 mins for both eyes
me like to put on false eyelashes.
