I was once told that alcohol is cheap that is why they include it in skincare products.
hmm cheap as in..a good source of solution for the ingredients to be mixed into issit?
alcohol is one of the chemical binders required in the process of manufacturing the item
it is also good at controlling oil, but actually harmful in the long run as it aids aging

The person did not elaborate on it so I don't know.
I have ever used moisturizer with alcohol in it. I tried the counter sample seemed all right, when I bought it and used at home, it is a different story. In the end, I threw away.
oh my goodness, i m using toner with alcohol!
it is ok to have alcohol in items that u wash off, like cleanser
but not advisable for items u leave on ur skin or have to be absorbed, like toner, moisturiser, masks
actually, it is ok to have alcohol as long as it's not in the top few in the ingredients list
and u relli need a very significant amount of it and prolonged usage for it to have the so-called "harmful effects" on your skin.......
am trying out la mer for the peeling patch on my jawline. 2 nights and it seems to be working.
la mer is good but $$$$$$$$$

i know! that's my dilemma now! it worked in hydrating and clearing the peeling skin but i can't afford it.
if it works then it's worth the $$ rite?
Try something cheaper but not so cheap?
Like Lancome or SKII?
The 2 Dr Wu's products I bought not very effective. I am disappointed.

Well, I think the sample is more effective. It is also the same to other brands. On the whole, it is better than other brands though sample is more effectiveI finished the laneige blue hydrating gel, not very good. keep having breakout when I used it. though it is said to be oil free but it is oily.

so is yours considered dehydrated like mine?
If we are looking at products developed by dermatologists, most of Dr Wu's products are reasonably priced.
Well, if I compare the hydrating lotion to others brands like Garnier, Nature's Gate hydrating product, its effect is slightly better. But knowing that this is developed by a skin dr thought it would really deliver its results as stated.
