BTW, I hope everyone here is aware that your sunblock should not be kept and used after a year.
Even the Neutrogena Dry Touch ones. They have helioplex that stabalise the sunblock qualities. It still not adviseable to keep and use them after a year.
thanks.
got cream got tinted cream...... which are for very dry skin
mine is emulsion..... suppose to be not so oily one
i used the emulsion avene. anyway, different people different type of skin. I notice trying samples on hand for skin care is not a good choice, skin on hand and face are different.
when i used emulsion avene, my pores look bigger, now that i use la roche, pores are smaller.
prevent expire
For the benefit of those who are using La Roche Posay Anthelios Sunblock fluid 50+ , there is latest product with higher protection 60 + (saw this from US website, not available in Singapore yet)
Sigh, just bought the promotion 50+ twin pack with free thermal water. so even if new product is available in sg, think it will take me a while to use it.
i rem when i was attending some lecture in NUS..
the lecturer acutally mentioned something quite interesting..
any spf higher than 50 or 60 cant rem, has actually not much significance in blocking out UV..
bottomline: those pple using 100/120/150 spf are actually having almost the same coverage as pple using spf 50/60 products..
i think i read about tt somewhere too
and the higher the SPF, the more chances of pore-clogging
Heyz! I got question!
Since sunscreen/sunblock absorbs/deflects UVA/B rays, will one still get tann in the sun?

who here got use tinted sunblock? Does it really work like liquid foundation?
tinted sunblock can be used like LF if u too lazy to apply many layers of diff pdts
but usually provides very light coverage only
i'm currently using the clinique city block - pretty good; at least no new freckles popping up
I use alot of sunblock. A 50ml bottle can last me for only 1.5 weeks cos i put on full arms, full legs and face. Next to try are: Etude House White Aqua Sun guard SPF50 PA++ and Sunkiller Whitening Water SPF 50 PA+++
Been trying a few brands, here is my review
ZA Power Block UV SPF 40 PA +++
Very scary white cast, very thick texture thus difficult to apply. Protection is ok. smelly
Biore UV Perfect Milk SPF50+/ PA+++ (blue bottle)
Have used a few bottles. Not much white cast. Easy to apply. Protection wise, was very good until last week for once i got tanned. Maybe that day sun was too strong.
Estee Lauder White Glove UV Defense Lotion SPF 45
Tried the sample on my face. Immediately had burning hot tingling sensation. Will never use again
Loreal UV Perfect SPF 50 PA+++
Very oily. Don't like the brown color tint. Protection so so
Follow Me (forgot the SPF & full name)
- White cast, protection so so
Nivea Whitening Sunblock SPF 30 PA++ - totally no protection against skin darkening, maybe cos SPF 30 is too low or is due to the product?? Sweat excessively after putting this on. Skin seems unbreathable.
Neutrogena Ultra Dry Sheer SPF 55- also cause excessive sweating, skin feels like can't breathe. Protection so so
Shiseido Anessa SPF 50+ PA+++
Tried the sample. Totally hate the brown tint. Oily. I still have 2 sachets left, anyone want just p.m me, i will give it free

i read somewhere that if sunblock is kept too long, the effects will be gone.
get separate one for body...
La Posay Roche
Can even be used on eye area. No need buy separate product for eye.
Been using Sunkiller Whitening Water these few days. Read about it and it seems highly raved but does not work for me! Clogged my pores and a few pimples on face and rashes on leg.
And i honestly don’t believe the contents inside is 30ml as stated, cos my Biore is 40ml and could last 2 weeks. This sunkiller 30ml used few days almost like gonna finish already. Will not buy again.

Choose wisely, sunscreen is very important. Good sunscreen can help to prevent pigmentation.
