Tell us how your eyes looks like. Single eyelids, double eyelids, plucked eyebrows? age group and poossible skin colour, fair, tan or dark? Deepset of puffy eyes?If you are young, which most girls on this forum is. Can always go for pale pink or light purple, they are fairly suitable to our asian chinese shallow skin colour.
Both light colours are easier for young girls. You can also get a white eyeliner pencil for some definations.
Avoid glittery eyeshadow until you are more confident with make up, or that you dont have puffy eyelids.
Mine look very bad with glitter eyeshadow. And err.......I seen older chio aunties with dark purple eyes....very 80s.

i think i applied eyeshadow less than 5x in my life.
dun really know how to apply, and remove also very mah fan.

to me, yes.becos i always feel tht makeup remove process is very mah fan, always scared canot remove throughly.

no need lar..got eye make up remover can le..
wash face twice...then after that use cotton w toner..if e cotton is white, its fine..
or, jus use make up remover oil/wipes for whole face the wash face..

start with using your finger so u have better control of the directions and blending
dab the e/s with your finger (me used to using ring finger) then start applying onto your lids in light strokes to spread the color
experiment with diff colors and diff areas of your eyelids for diff effects
if u find that both sides unequal, use tissue to gently clear away the extra parts
do not try to pile more
