Good Makeup removal and cleanser recommendations

Hi ladies,
U know of any good makeup remover and cleanser for combi-oily skin?
I would love to try this one.... but too expensive!!!
Shu Uemura
Small bottle about $70plus
Big bottle about $140+
Today I went to Fancl counter to try their cleansing oil. Just as good as Shu Uemura but a lot a lot cheaper.
Small bottle less than $20.
Big bottle about $30 plus.

The salesgirl tried it on my left hand. After she wipe off, my left hand appeared fairer and brighter than my right hand. -
I think Fancl is ok. I had tried the tester but to me is a bit oily.
Although, biore also has one.. but I hate to test and have break outs... -

cos the usual cleansing milk i uses can't clean off the waterproof mascara that i used... only cleansing oil can dissolve them... -
i've tried Helena Rubenstein, Chanel, Bobbi brown, Clinque, Clarins, Kose, Estee Lauder, shishedo
All abt the same, just different price. But i prefer Estee Lauder's eye make up remover. Its mild and really gentle on my delicate eyes.
Currently i am using Biotherm Face make up remover and Kose eye make up remover. Cheap and good enough.
Anyway, i tried using Loreal's eye make up mover. And after one month, i realise theres little bubbles on my eye area. So, if u have very sensitive skin, maybe you might want to aviod using that. Especially those eye make up remover that is oil based. -
Ok agree .. I also had those bumps on eye now.. Wanted to get rid of them...

Currently used almond milk to remove, I think korres has but I got mine from beautician .. quite ex. Not worth. Cause I can get the same thing in Chinatown at one third the price because of bulk purchase. -
yea, maybe shouldn't apply mascara too often. Coz u need those oil based make up remover to remove that thoroughly.Originally posted by mistyblue:

Hmmmm... Been using Comodynes for the past year or so... Wet tissues. It's quite good... the tissues are really wet (and not drydrywet like some other brands). I can't tell how well exactly it cleanses, but should be quite well bah, since it doesn't worsen my skin condition. Plus... this brand was recommended by some makeup artist who does makeup for celebrities... can't remember who.

I like cleansing oils because they clean really well.
I'm using the Shu Uemura cleansing oil for oily skin now. Bought the small bottle for $50+. (May be different size from Honeybunz's description?) Cleans thoroughly. Has a mild peppermint smell. Hurts the eyes if it gets in contact with eyes.
Before this I used Ipsa cleansing oil. There's only 1 oil for all types of skin. Cleans well too. No scent. Gentle on the eyes. Small bottle costs $40+, for more quantity than Shu (I think 10ml more) .
Comparatively, I think performance wise these two brands are on par. Perhaps Shu feels less oily after you wash off with water.... but they're almost the same. Ipsa is more economical.
I didn't know about the bubbles around the eyes from using oil cleanser, but these two products don't give me this problem. After using a cleansing oil, I use a normal cleanser.
Oil cleansers may be pricey but they go a long way, at least 2-3 months worth of product in a small bottle. So I think they're still worth it. -

i tried Biore cleansing oil before.. not too bad.. but its not that efficient when comes to waterproof mascara.. i've switched to Za makeup remover gel.. i feel that Za is better than Biore
But for waterproof mascara, i still need to apply more remover gel.. I bought a waterproof eye and lip makeup remover from Missha (Korea brand) the day before... its gd!!! and its only $7.90! cheap and gd! -

i've got more n more breakouts and blackheads... then, i switched to cleanser and makeup remover gel... my face is so much clearer now... i usually use makeup remover gel to remove my makeup, then, use oil cleanser. after that, i use facial foam, followed by toner... always use a toner.. as it helps to clean away dirts inside the pores -

I am actually using the Herbalife cleanser. never heard before? Many ppl only know them for slimming and health stuff. My friend went to USA, so I "dong pang" her to buy for me in their LA office. Quite good. Somemore quite cheap also. .... Need to use a bit only (pump out about 10 cent coin size), can clean all traces of makeup.
But then, they don't sell in Singapore, too bad. Also, they might stop this range completely. So I think no chance for me to replenish. So now going around exploring other brands.
Likely going into Fancl one. Tried SKII cleanser before (the sample size). Every SKII users swear by it. But I find it so so. -

Actually last time I was quite skeptical about Fancl one, cuz I always believe their products are full of artificial stuff and chemicals. I tried the Nivea one before, but that was baaaad. I could feel my skin producing more oil than usual, and I actually developed more acne before my big aunt came than usual.
But when I use Comodynes, it doesn't happen.
What I do is, when I reach home from work at about 5-6pm, immediately I clean away all that make-up with the wet tissue and then wash my face with just water.
And then at night just before I sleep, I use a clarifying facial wash. -
Currently i'm using Missha's cleansing oil.
Pretty good to use and i prefer that over Biore's cleasnsing oil. Think it's too oily and don't really 'clean' after washing my face.
