That time which comes but once a month,
The rank is shown the deed is done.
Some rise some fall and some will stall,
Whatever may be everyone's had a ball.

Here we have, DPS Singapore,
Rhymes and poems and verses galore!
We have earned the 26th place,
With literary that's full of grace.

So let me offer my heartiest congratulations,
May we have some celebrations.
And this poem is dedicated to Dead Poet,
He deserves a toast of Moet!

(and of course, not forgetting everyone who's supported DPS Sg. To better things still!)

Thanks! I was inspired by that movie too! Very Happy

Before that I only read poems never wrote any of my own. That movie change my perception of Literature and there is no turning back.

By the way, feel free to participate in the 2nd DPS (S) poetry writing competition, deadline for submission is 12th September 2004. Do read the rules & regulations carefully, the judges are very committed in their responsibilities. Wink

And if you are free do drop by at Hall of Inspirations. Most of the poems posted in DPS (S) are display there. Very Happy
