  Meteorites
  
  I love meteorites.
  I adore shooting stars, so magnificent in their rapid degradation
  and violent cleansing,
  scoured clean by the ecliptic flames of aeons
  gone by,
  ready for a rebirth as a
  shiny pebble.
  Held lovingly in the palm
  of a boy.

  Although the author claims that he love meteorites, but phases like ‘rapid degradation’ and ‘violent cleansing’ reflects the destructive side of Nature. Well nothing is perfect.
  
  But from line 6 onwards, there seems to be twist in the poem to a more positive turn. Nature represent by the shiny pebble is in the palm of a boy. This symbolize the fate of Nature, to a certain extend, is now in the hand of the younger generation.
  
  Excellent poem.
