Hope of the Stars
Peacefully, dusk settles upon me.
Orange hue, I bathe in and paints the sky.
Easing, thy weary, dull eyes up,
Towards the sparkling heavens.
Incandescence flows,
Cascading light upon the darkness.
Velvety hues with a warming glow,
Erstwhile gloom begins to go.
Regally like a returning King,
Sweet new hope begins to bloom.
Enchanted, as new awakening descends. -
