Something I participate in the other forums. Quite fun. Let try it here.
The idea is to write a poem using the alphabet from ‘POETIC VERSE’ for the first word of each sentence.
Here is my contribution.
Perhaps you might have seen him before
Out alone on the street
Easing his way among the faceless crowds
Touching every alternate lamp-posts
Indifferent to his surroundings
Creating poems in his head
Voices unheard by others
Echoing the craving Muse within
Retreating to his private haven, gladly
Surrenders his sanity in exchange for
Endless poetic verse
Any other creative poets? -
ok i know this isn't very good, kinda did it on the spot .... dun laff too hard ok?

Perhaps we aren't as strange as it seems
Only that time & places made them so.
Enjoying life we did as unknowns
Thinking that life as it was;
Infinte,
Complete.
Verily too soon did reality set in
Erasing all happiness, comfort & warmth.
Ruinous roads, overcast skies. Despair it seems, ruled the day.
Strangeness again; storm clouds yield, clearing the past
Encouraging new life - blossoms everlasting!

Pandemonium
Of collosal proportions
Erupt in the confines of
This anguished heart
Into the furnace
Coldly it burns
Verily he was smitten
Entralled by this beauty, but
Rejection was his gift
Set upon him by Fate
Ever the Bestower of Woe
Give me critique!! Please? -
Powerful engines rumbling,
Overtaking, swerving recklessly.
Ever impatient, eager to speed
Thundering through the lanes.
If only he had some common sense,
Caution would have saved his life.
Veering left and suddenly right,
Eventually crashing, smashing head-on.
Regret won't save him, nor can paramedics.
Speeding is fun, but it kills too,
Everyone knows, nobody listens. -
Prince of morning star,away from the light
Out of the cold cell, he shone so bright
Eternally trapped within himself,no more
Towards the ancient oak giant doors
In his mind,there is no doubt.
Chained for 4 thousand years,now he wants out
Verse for verse, he wrote this page
Ever ready to fight his fate
Rather unethically he goes about his way
Stealing beLIEvers harden faith
Edging closing to ure end of days
