The dewdrop from a petal,
A snowflake from the sky,
That trickle on my window pane,
The teardrop from my eye...
The giggles of a baby,
A hug from friends I know,
The fragrant smell of Autumn leaves,
And the way the sunset glows...
The beauty of a rainbow,
And that gentle evening breeze,
The waves on our shoreline,
And the way you blew a kiss...
The friendly smile of strangers,
A chirp from birds on trees,
The orange from a candle-flame,
That scar above your knees...
The melody you yearned to learn,
With its lyrics cut me deep,
Or that moment when you said good-bye,
Which was the day I start to bleed...

AhÂ…. a poem of senses. This is suppose to be a sad love poem right? But why am feeling happy when I am reading it? The more I read (aloud), the merrier I become.
No hard feeling, I think it is too beautifully written to be a sad poem.
I like the way it rhymes and yes, autumn is my favourite season. Simply love the way put it,
‘The fragrant smell of Autumn leaves,
And the way the sunset glows...Â’
Maybe MoonIce and you can work together on a poem. She is very good at writing songs and your poems are so musically incline.
