Are you close with your cousins?

Sad to say I am not. The only time we meet up are Chinese New Year, weddings or funeralsÂ….
Hope I can change that in the near future.

mother's side one.....oni got 2 cousins.....13 yr old girl and 11 yr old boy.......
we tok on msn
father's side one.....oso 2.....but 2 boys.....American Born Chinese....communicate by email
they jus come back to sg for visiting.....eerr.....a bit of communication problem........ahhahaha... -

used to be closer when we r younger..... cos always got go each other's house during sch holiday..... then some of us used to stay 2gether.....
as we all grow up....... we mt lesser n lesser...... now it's only CNY n grandparents' bday loh
but we still talk on icq -
Used to be close with my mum's side one. Both are brothers, still remember the 3 of us used to cause quite abit of trouble back then. Now nv c them except on CNY...

Actually beside friends, cousins are the next closer people you can have. But somehow as we grow older, we drift further and further apart.

but then i've always been quiet during family gatherings...
will usually sit one side and watch tv rather than to make a move to talk to my cousins...
but my older cousins are good lor.... they will come and talk to everyone of us, to know how we are now.... -
well,what can i say.guess each has their own separate lives?sometimes always meeting each other doesn't mean u'll get closer.Example,i'll always go to my granny's (mother's house) home at least once a week bt i still don't feel close with them..guess its because of generation gap?Where else for my father's side,i feel closer to them even though we meet only once or twice per year~~So i guess its quality time you spend together,rather than quantity time~~

yah..meet only once or twice a year, during grandparent's birthday, new year, and, sad to say, death anniversaries. -
hmmm... was in same school for one year as one of my cousins (father's side) and we never spoke more than "hallo" or "goodbye" to each other.
for my mom's side, I haven't met my cousins for more than 10 years and the first time we met after that long break, we ended up going to a pub for drinks and having fun till everyone got drunk. and I have an even bigger age gap with these cousins than those from my dad's side.

only closer with my mother's younger sister's children..
we from young play till now..go each other's house stay over nite and etc..
now still very close..but the rest..not so.. -
i got quite a bit of cousins. some of them old enuf where their oldest child is ard 4 ?
cousins' age range from 9 to 37+

anyway i am closer or rather talk to my cousin older than me by 3 years much more than my sis also 3 years older than me.
but i am damn distant from my 3 younger cousins. havent talked to them in 5years++ except for chinese new year...exchange 1 line max. -
I'll like to think that I'm close enough to them that I won't feel the need to behave properly or formerly infront of them. But then again, me and my cousins hardly go out shopping or do stuff together. We just meet during family gatherings, talk a bit, sometimes, play ps2 together, ya know, that kinda stuff.
But I'm only that close to some of my cousins, definitely not all of them. And usually the younger ones as well. -
maybe singapore shld have a cousins day ??

my dad's side got..... 2?! well at least 2 that i noe of lah.... since grandma passed away din even see during CNY....
mum's side.... 3, teenagers, actual age unknown (to me lah)... see every CNY cos they always at my granny's plc.....
inlaws.... think got................................................................. 6? got see during CNY lah, briefly.. but nvr talk lah.... -

everytime go over to my 3 dear cousins' house i always bully them they in turn also bully me
all pri 2, 4, 6 kids somemore luckily all female if male arh i doomed liao -
lets juz say that only during inheritance discussions then i can see every face of theirs. i cant help to look down on them.
