My poem..

Guardians...
Lightly we sleep in the nascent night
Drinking in our soulful song.
Your face glimmers like a royal samudra
I myself a guardian of bodhisattvas.
The petals of life anew unfold
Like the solemn seraphim that
Slowly
Arises
From his roost.
Resplendent in the glory of
The
Morning dewÂ….
Our stoic faces, etched in time
Perform a duty much older than
All eternity.

You can post all your poems under one thread if you like, for example all my poems are in Dead Poet, R.I.P. and Kitty’s are in ‘The Black Cat’s Cauldron’. It will be easier to look for your poems.
This poem is very spiritually written. After reading this, you cannot help but feel a sense of peacefulness, beauty, permanence.
I am surprise to see the word ‘nascent’ to describe the night. It is very refreshing for me. It is also very appropriately used here.
Nascent: (adj) (1) in act of being born (2) just beginning to be. Fit into the poem like a jigsaw puzzle.
This is a great poem, a poem in mediation.
