  HmmÂ… cooking, one of my favourite hobbies. It is the cleaning up that I donÂ’t like.
  
  I love to use lots of garlic, onions, sauces, ginger, rice wine, sesame oil, etc in my cooking.

  i oso like cooking, messing in the kitchen, concocting new recipes..........

  i like using beer
  
  but seriously... cooking is usually when i have to eat and no one's around... and is limited by what i can get my hands on
  
  so, it's a "see how"...
  
  but beer is a great ingredient to use

  beer? wouldn the dish be bitter? would prefer wine....
  
  one of my fav would be to pour loads of those rice wine to marinate my chicken wings...

  no.. simple dish with beer or can use white wine too...
  
  shi'itake and button mushrooms, all cut to similar sized slices....
  
  smash some garlic.. finely... put into melted butter.. stir until fragrant..
  
  add mushrooms, stirfry for a while...
  
  dump 1/2 can of beer, into the wok.. cover and allow to reduce...

  i ever tried pouring redwine into the spag sauce....smells superb..
  
  but the thing is....my cookingisnicetoeat..but very ugly..:p

  alcohol is usually reduced so not much bitterness left...
  
  yah.. bolognaise sauce
  
  used to cook that when i was in uni... polished off 1/2 the bottle of wine while the other half ended in the pot

  I love to listen to music and cook at the same time. For me, this is another way to relax.

  I got no choice but to learn to cook. Can't eat out all the time. Food is expensive here, even fresh foods. I have to cook for all 6 people in my current household at times. I specialise in tomato based pastas. Still trying to perfect zhi char.

  mostly made homestyle cantonese food...

  i love to cook too... love experimenting with different ingredients and methods of cooking. but so far results been less then satisfactory
