'A' Levels I also did Hardy's MOC and I hated Chaucer's Pardoner's Tale haha had to translate every single line until we all got so sick of it we yanked it off the net. Other books include Tom Stoppard's "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead", Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing", George Eliot's "Silas Marner", Seamus Heaney's Selected Poems... Stoppard's book was well erm, totally absurd-sounding but after all that struggling through the book and failing to answer the essay questions adequately, I still say it's the best book I've ever read.
