Growing up
When I was just a little boy
My mum didn’t ask me what I want to be
When I get poor results for my exam
She would bring out the cane to hit me
I would play soccer on the field below
With a lot of kids which I don’t know
Slowly we began to play more regularly
And we all start to feel like a small family
Life was so much simpler than it is now
We don’t have things like laptops and mobiles
All we had was a small pager
Which mum will expect me to quickly answer
But good things don’t last forever
And now I am just an ordinary worker
If I could go back fourteen years earlier
I wish I didn’t make that terrible blunder
It is too late now for me to ponder
Fourteen years too late and it’s all over
So fast say give up. How old are you?
wah, been awhile. Rat, how have you been?
