[Poem] Possession

  Possession

  I see you; you turned, hands furtively on the torchlight,
  I feel you; you jerked forward, body as cold as ever,
  I hold you; you could not accept it, my presence,
  I called you out; you ran, with eyes filled with dread.
  
  I followed you; you sensed me all along,
  I backed off slightly; your calm face I can see,
  I whispered in your ear; you stammer, you quiver,
  I embrace you; hot tears ran down your face, in fear.
  
  Â… Â… Â…
  
  I froze; something hugged me,
  I spun around; no one I can see,
  A chill down my spine; I dashed in this pitch black darkness,
  An exit; my only safeguard I cannot find anymore.
  
  A tug; I felt it,
  No one; I knew it, IÂ’m in an abandoned hospital,
  But why; I was beginning to accept it,
  Fear; altering into something else.
  
  Â… Â… Â…
  
  You ceased running; I began to wonder,
  Your chillness; I can no longer feel it,
  The smile on your face; faint, yet comfortable,
  Your mind; I feel that youÂ’ve fallen for it.
  
  I embrace you; you gagged the moment I brushed against you,
  You knelt to the cold ceramic; you regretted your decision,
  Your smile; now carved into an uneasy leer,
  Your body; now mine, and yours.

  I like it.
  
  There is a constant tension, a familiar fear of the unknown.
  
  One of a style distinct to you. Why not try to embrace a different style to your current?
  
  You never know what sort of chemistry might occur

  It's about a person before and during the process of being possessed by a spirit, before the end of the poem...
