Hello My Dears,
Another rainy day at the bookstore, and for once, hopefully the last, we are here to beseech a favour from all of you. As most of you would know, we finally coming to our the end of the second year of having the bookstore. And also, with our lease up, we were expecting to renew it without too much of a surprise but then again, the future happened exactly the way that we couldn't have predicted it (Did that make sense?).
Our rent went on a cool hiking trip, by 50%, and were also offered only a 1-year lease. So we are like expecting another hike come October 08'.
Regardless, to put your worries to sleep, we have decided to continue on. We should be able to soldier on though it had completely wiped out all the improvements that we had achieved over the last two years. So it is like back to square one but am sure we will conjure up a triangle miracle.
And now for the favour. As we deem the 3rd year onwards till 5th year to be the most crucial time in the life of the bookstore, we are hoping that everyone could further assist us in spreading the word about the bookstore. We are hoping that with increased traffic, it might translate to sales. And glad to inform everyone that our selection has gotten even better. So much more new books till they are vomiting from the shelves already.
Alright, guess this would be right about all from us now. Yes, go spread the word, tell your friends here or overseas that there is a tiny bookstore over here, and hopefully that will do the trick. Kenny promises not to be too grouchy and cut his overgrown mop of hair too.
