[Poem] Remnants

OOC: Hi everyone. This is my first time here in sgforums, but not in fictionpress.com, where I go by the name of Outlaw02. Yeah, I'm a writer, each time improving my writing skills. However, writing poems was how I became today, and well, I gave a shot at it, this one being actually a clue poem related to a primary story I'm currently writing. So, without further ado, here it is.

REMNANTS

A hand; stretching out for me,
I grasped it; only to be a marionetteÂ’s,
Chains; rusty that screamed tetanus,
Cuffed; firmly to my ankles.
A syringe; used and discarded,
Blood; dried and rotting
Wounds; open and infected,
Body; feverish.
A window; I viewed through it,
Devastation; I saw failed copies of myself,
Frustration; I huddled to one grimy corner,
A whip; forcing me to stretch out my arm.
Blood; my life force extracted,
Breaths; each one heavier than before,
Vision; blurred,
Conversation; slurred.
A yank; I woke up,
A hand; doused in blood,
I grasped it; but was shoved away,
I stumbled; stepped on countless times.
A howl; I wept,
Tears; in a form of blood,
Pain; surged throughout my body,
Time; a day has passed.

Not too worry. I tend to stick around the threads I make and only reply when I see posts. Well, yes, I'm mid-way through writing not only a horror story, but a combination of several genres that are...
-Action
-Humour
-Psychological
-Horror
-Heroic Bloodshed
-Gore
-Controversy
With the genres stated above, it is hard to actually make a poem that is linked to the main story series, titled "Tokyo Battalions". I have to admit, the poem I've written is not just a poem; it's a clue poem, or a 'helper/distorter'.
And yes, Hellena is one of the characters I have under my belt. -

Well, it may sound like drug addiction, but it's not. Let's just say... early 1940s, Germany. That gives a whole load of ideas, eh?

You're half correct on that. It was based by this doctor back in the Second World War nicknamed 'Angel of Death'. Known for experimenting on the Jews and 'insane' people, who maybe of their own kind, I pictured this to the fact and made it feel realistic in some ways.

That's what I did for my story. Poems are used as the intro and outro of each chapter, and also used as 'helper/distorter' to either help readers about the clues, or distort their views from the true variant.

Hmm.....so....grim...bleak and dark...interesting descriptions here, got Part 2?
