Not a line

  I am not sure why but I find it very difficult, maybe uncomfortable, writing about my family. I wanted so much to write about my love for my wife, the death of my grandparents, my childhood, my brother and cousins, etc. but no matter how hard I tried I just canÂ’t write about them. I am not sure why but I just freeze, nothing, zero, not even a line. The images are there but I just canÂ’t find the appropriate words for them.
  
  Anyone of you have this problem?

  Some words are best left unspoken .......
  
  So some lines are best left unwritten loh .......
  
  Aiyah ...... it's just too personal to be shared lah .......

  Somehow I have to get over this problem. I am not sure if it is fear or if I am trying to suppress some bad memories but I think they deserve a place in my poetry.

  I wrote a few lines and dumped the idea of writing.
  
  Words are simply inadequate at times.
  
  edit: But maybe that's just my excuse for being lazy

  Don't know why, my mind simply black out whenever I try to write about them. My thoughts and emotions started to get all mixed up. I feel like crying, I start having cold feets, I freeze.

  when we write about our feelings about people, we are subconsciously affirming the feelings (can be good or bad).
  
  i dont like to write about sad feelings because i wish they would fade away faster.
  
  and sometimes, i doubt my happy feelings ...... sign of insecurity
