Been quite a while since I last logged on! How are you??
Since you have passion for kids, it would be good to be in direct contact with them.
If passion is what you have, there are always many openings out there which are hungry for it. Sad to say, you have to be a little more realistic as such openings usually don't pay that well and the job can be rather taxing.
I have worked with children in a preschool setting for nearly all my life. I'm proud to say that I've never regretted going into it.
I'd guess work is never work if you love doing it. It helps if you're a big kid yourself 
P.S I think you should be very popular with the kids as you look like a cuddly teddy bear!

okie lor... since u asked for it.... u r too idealistic at times, w/o thinking thru the realistic restrictions... yet at times u think too much but do too little...
like wat devil say, it's good to ask for opinion.. we dun have to be some self-centered egoistic pigs... but being swayed [or rather disillusioned] by others opinions? well u can't please everyone... so just please urself... if u end up in s.hit it's YOUR own prob liao!
but hey at least u jump into that s.hit hole urself and not pushed into it yah? -

Fine thank you. Well the thing is those around me think that I get along very well with children so I thought why not give it a try. I do have a few options i.e. I can stick with community service, or try working in a social service/child related environment.
By the way do I really look like a cuddly teddy bear? More like Crayon Shin-chan (small eyes version) I think.
