Here are two poems for all my friends in DPS. Ha, ha he!
Laughing SongWhen the green woods laugh with the voice of joy,
And the dimpling stream runs laughing by;
When the air does laugh with our merry wit,
And the green hill laughs with the noise of it;
When the meadows laugh with lively green,
And the grasshopper laughs in the merry scene,
When Mary and Susan and Emily
With their sweet round mouths sing “Ha, ha he!”
When the painted birds laugh in the shade,
Where our table with cherries and nuts is spread:
Come live, and be merry, and join with me,
To sing the sweet chorus of “Ha, ha, he!”
William Blake (1757 –1827)Office FriendshipsEve is madly in love with Hugh
And Hugh is keen on Jim.
Charles is in love with very few
And few are in love with him.
Myra sits typing notes of love
With romantic pianistÂ’s fingers.
Dick turns his eyes to the heaven above
Where FranÂ’s divine perfume lingers.
Nicky is rolling eyes and t
its
And her flaunting her wiggly walk
Everybody is thrilled to bits
By CliveÂ’s suggestive talk.
Sex suppressed will go berserk,
But it keeps us all alive.
ItÂ’s a wonderful change from wives and work.
And it ends at half past five.
