IMHO, metal lyrics are usually more original at than pop lyrics. I can't say that I'm a big metal fan or anything but I found that I like the progressive metal/rock genre. I'd appreciate recommendations if you have any. Currently, I have albums by Symphony X and Dream Theatre. -

I prefer death/goth metal, especially scandanavian bands, they're great in this genre.
