A badminton poem for all

The score starts at love all
With a serve to break the deadlock
The participants were zodi, tony , zt
Jyong, sagara and ratty
Ladies first tony would always say
Let zodi to start the game
Weekends or weekdays doesnÂ’t make a difference
7-9 at evening or 3-5 in the afternoon
First to fifteen for the win
And after that we will have our drinks
Baseline clearance to baseline with a swing
Or a smash with the twist of our wrist
Organising this outing is not easy
Ask zodi and you will know how tough it is
Waking up 7am in the morning
To ensure she will get the booking
After the badminton we will go for our dinner
And that is also considered our supper
And so I shall conclude here
With this as the last line of the badminton poem.

Not exactly about running.
IÂ’ve posted this poem here before but it is one of my favourite poems.
The Champion
The average runner sprints
Until the breath in him is gone
But the champion has the iron will
That makes him ‘carry on’
For rest, the average runner begs
When limp his muscles grow
But the champion runs on leaden legs
His spirit makes him go.
The average manÂ’s complacent
When he does his best to score
But the champion does his best
And then he does a little more.
