ooo.
i like!
Technically speaking, that's not poem, its lyrics. I prefer lyrics to poems, especially the ones by Li Yu and Li Qingzhao. Poem wise, probably Li Bai's Jiang Jing Jiu and Bai Ju Yi's Chang Heng Ge.Originally posted by The man who was death:i only like some chinese poem like sotong po's that ming yue ji shi you, ba jiu wen qing tian that one.

I like Chinese history, especially Pre-Qin, 3 kingdom era and Qing - 54 period
Really? I always thought that it was a ci (lyrics) ,on the tune of Shui Diao Ge Tou, to start with. One that he wrote and sent it to his brother. I have never seen it's poem format. Could you send me or post the poem format online?Originally posted by The man who was death:that's a poem by sudong po..
they just use the poem as the lyrics, it's not a lyric at first.
i dunno anything about shui diao ge tou and whether he wrote and sent it to his brother, i just know from the sec sch chinese textbook that it was a poem he compose when he was drinking and he was leaving or somebody was leaving or something.Originally posted by wisefool83:Really? oh, ok. Ci or lyrics, is a literature format that is popular during the late Tang and Song Dynasty. The reason why its different from poem is that it is "filled in" to a piece of tune, which in this case is Shui Diao Ge Tou. Basically quite like today's song and music, where you have piece of music score and someone fill in the lyrics. Ci is also often known as Shi Yu, or remains of poem, which is because lyricist quite often attached certain extra words to an established poem to make it fit into a certain tune. In Singapore's textbook, if you come across a "poem like" thingy that is written by anyone in the Song Dynasty like Sudong Po, Li Yu, Li Qingzhao, Yue Fei blar blar blar, chances are, you have come across a ci or lyrics.Originally posted by The man who was death:i dunno anything about shui diao ge tou and whether he wrote and sent it to his brother, i just know from the sec sch chinese textbook that it was a poem he compose when he was drinking and he was leaving or somebody was leaving or something.
