Review: 'Books Actually' Bookstore.

For those who still hasn't been, it's really a perfect lil bookstore filled with so many pweeety pweeety stuffs. What are you waiting for?

BTW, I promised that I'll take photos of my dad's typewriters, but last weekend the parents sneakily scooted off for a holiday so i couldn't access their house.
Will try to get around to doing that soon guys, so sorry.
PS: I heard that there are plans for Books Actually to hold Book Club mtgs soon. cool rite??? -
what exactly do people in book clubs do?

Basically, they decide on what book they are going to read, which means that everyone joining in must have the same book, then they come together and discuss its contents and what they think about it.Originally posted by prayingbudda:what exactly do people in book clubs do?
If they don't do it like that, then it's more like a reading and review club.
IMHO, book clubs are like having reading homework, inevitably you'll have a few who never follow through or can't finish the book, or some people just bowing out because they don't like the choice of the book in focus.
Usually sustainable if you have a like-minded group, like a group of people who all like the same genre. -

no lah. I was telling some friends about this shop so they can help support this kind of small businesses but they wanted to know more and see photos so i searched in the net and found this link. Yup the logistics is kinda challenging, but i know of some book clubs in KL that are thriving.
