But the CONCEPT.
But the COST
is too HIGH.
Soon as i get
THIS
I gotta have
THAT
and so forth
and so on....
In a PROGRESSIVE society
Sometimes
I wish i could just
STAND STILL.
The SINGAPORE DREAM
is a
Corporate Machine.
MY EYES ARE WIDE OPEN.
Hello all, i'm kinda new to the forum and would like to share comments about poetry and stuff. I kinda wrote this poem about the Mr Brown episode from a view of a consumer. Hope it doesn't offend anyone, would appreciate if you guys could give comments or criticism about it.

Welcome to the forum.
Whenever people say things like Singapore Dream or American Dream or whatever, I take it is suppose to be a general or collective term. It's one of those large words that looks nice on a poster or sounds nice in a song. And if you look closely enough doesn't really mean anything since not everyone's dream is the same.

Things are usually slow around here just the way we like it. So don’t mind my late welcome. Well Mr Brown is quite a cool guy. Although I am not his fan but he is so much better than most of the other “famous” bloggers out there.
By the way out of curiosity do you read poetry on a regular basis, especially those from local or contemporary poets?
