DPS (S) Poetry Reading Session

IÂ’ve just received a pm from a friend and I think there is a need to clarify something.
This is not a DPS (S) Poetry Reading Session. We are there to join them in their regular reading session. You do not need to read if you donÂ’t want to. My main purpose of organizing this trip is for us to see how they do it. Although personally I may join them on a regular basis, at the moment I have no plan to merge our reading sessions with theirs.
I apologized for the misleading title.
Meanwhile I am still searching for a couple of places to organize our very own DPS (S) Poetry Reading Session. I have a few places in mind but nothing has been confirmed yet.

As it is I had to cancel my first-ever solo overseas trip due to an important interview. Sigh.

(Actually more like an outing)
Venue: BooksActually
Date: 12th August, Saturday
Time: 2pm
Meet at Tanjong Pagar MRT Control Station @1.30pm
I was told by the friendly folks at BooksActually that they hold poetry reading session in their cozy bookstore on the 2nd Saturday of the month. Since we have not done any poetry reading sessions before, I think it will be a great idea to join their next reading session on 12th August, Saturday.
I am not sure if it is appropriate to call this our “DPS (S) Poetry Reading Session” since I don’t think any of us will be doing any reading on that day (You are most welcome to read if you feel comfortable enough) but I guess we have to start somewhere. It should be an interesting experience and I am really looking forward to it.
Bedsie, I am also exploring the possibilities of organizing some activities with them.
So if you are interested to join me on 12th August, Saturday please let me know. We can have some coffee together after the reading.

Incidentally, would it be easier to get there if we drop at Raffles Place MRT and turn right after Lau Pa Sat into Telok Ayer St?
Also, would you by any chance be wearing a t-shirt that says your name? so it's easier for us all to spot the team leader? -

Forgot to tell you, I met with the Cafe Domus guy, Han Shiun. He says if you're considering or interested to use the cafe for poetry reading, could you give him a call at 91074710 -so he knows how to cater for your requirements in terms of seating, cost of food/drinks, other stuffs.
