Looking at Ryan for a moment before I turn to the rest and explains but not before I returned the crystal to Meg and thank them for their hospitality.
“I come from another world, in this whole universe, there are many worlds out there you do not know not unless you have the power to travel here and there which I do have but for some unknown reason I fall into a portal which someone set up for me, for whom I meant to find out exactly who when I get back,” I explained slowly.
All four look awestruck at me but I told them; “Nope I not so powerful you all are if that is what all of you are thinking.” ‘At least not yet’ I think to myself never showing my full powers to anyone yet.
Roy then asked me many questions about my world to which I answer as much as I could in their way of communication. Edward was looking at me until he finally spoke his first words to me, “so are you going to explain all this to the king?” “Of course right, Ria?” Meg exclaimed. Ryan looks at me closely and Roy says: “Really?”
My eyebrow twitch as I explained that I will not say all this to the king and so I told them what they want to say to the king is their business but donÂ’t drag me in.
Soon after which I say this, a knock on the door drew our attention, Roy opened and a man stood there announcing that we have been summoned to the KingÂ’s throne room. There, we curtsied to Their Majesties.
King Aden looked at me closely and asked who am I. I explained slowly that I come from another island and came here to look for an uncle but found the house empty for god only knows what reason there is. But thankfully King Aden accepts my reasons without any questions. But the queen was looking at me strangely but made no remarks.
King Aden says that Rodney and Malino had been stripped of their power and exiled to another kingdom. Hearing I rejoice in the wisdom of the king. King Aden then conferred titles to my four friends.
“Meg Stresjosia, I knighted you, Duchess of Arisstros”
“Edward Gaffelye, I knighted you, Baron of Jordgen”
“Roy Northlye, I knighted you Baron of Gerwood”
“Ryan Northlye, I knighted you Duke of Camolinewood”
As I heard all this, I realize all are of noble births. All too soon, king Aden then look at me and ask what rewards do I want, I look at King Aden then Queen Lyon and to my friends and then I say something.
“King Aden I thanks you for your kindness but I have nothing I could wish for I have all I needs, and too I bid you farewell for I need to make haste for my journey ahead,” I say gracefully.
Queen Lyon look at me then whisper to King Aden. King Aden nodded and sent for the chancellor to bring something here.
The chancellor then come to me along with a antique box which I gazed at it warily before opening it, and I gazed with wonder at the artifact I held.
It was a small gem the size of a marble and it was an Amethyst like no other for it pulses with pure power and glows with splendor. I know at once it was a power gem and before I could refuse the gift, Queen Lyon spoke with grace.
“Ria, this gem was handed to me by someone who ask me to hand to the person who would some day save Camboline and for which a message is given for you.”
“Ria of Camboline from the world of humans where Magik is Hidden and where dangers lurks. This Amelyst I gave you through Queen Lyon will aid you in whatever lies ahead for you will need it.”
After listening to Queen Lyon, those who were in the room look at me with awe but I did not notice them as I look at Queen Lyon closely. Sighing I then thanks Queen Lyon and make to leave. Ryan and the rest followed after me.
Outside I took Midnight and rode to the nearest forest with Ryan and the rest riding behind me.
Finally I stopped by an open field. Then I looked at Midnight and mind-speak.
‘Midnight Sky you have served me well, now I grant you freedom to do what you wish’
Then to my surprise, Midnight mind-speak back.
‘Milady, if you are going back to your world do bring me back for I will serve you better there.’
And with that verse, Midnight change into a human right in front of me.
Then I heard shrieks of surprises behind me, Ryan Company have arrived in time to see the transformation.
Shaking my head and sighing inevitably I nodded and summon a portal with a single gesture.
Ryan walked to me and say: “I will miss you”
With a smile I kissed him and step through the portal.
Once back I look at Midnight and took him through another portal to a mansion somewhere. Told him to stay there to learn about the worlds and informed my secretary as well of new developments.
With that I went home, tired but determined with the Amethyst in my pockets. I knew I have tough times ahead but nevertheless I know to rejoice everyday not caring the future but living for the present.
