Poem: part-timer

  part-timer.
  
  sixty percent of me
  still thinks you're
  a girl, interrupted
  and here I am
  trying to fix
  that cable
  which connects
  you
  to
  this world.
  
  am I trying
  or is this
  a dream
  a waking smile
  which I recall
  vaguely, in a way
  like simplicity
  raises a question
  about life.

  It's about the same guy who think hard, and he thinks a part of him might still be pushed to like her enough, if she lets him into her mind again.

  After your explanation, then i see it what you're trying to say- in certain parts of the poem. I guess you need to enforce the imagery you're using further. So, the cable you're trying to fix in 'this world' , is 'this world' your world?
