  Welcome to DPS (S)!
  
  Well after the closing date I will open another thread to display all participating poem, i.e. for example this.
  
  They will be put on displayed for about three weeks.
  
  Once I have the results for both Open Category and JudgesÂ’ Choice Category I will create two more threads to announce the winner (s). For example, this and this.
  
  To encourage more people to be interested in poetry and to participate in our future competitions, prizes, usually book vouchers will be given. (Usually via post)
  
  The main thing is to have fun and by the way, my friends call me DP.

  The three judges for this round JudgesÂ’ Choice Category are
  
  1) Gilbert Koh
  
  Gilbert Koh is the winner of the National Arts Council's Golden Point Award for Poetry (2005). His poetry has been published in various publications in Singapore and elsewhere, including Atlanta Review, papertiger, Slope, No Other City - The Ethos Anthology of Urban Poetry, Love Gathers All - The Philippines-Singapore Anthology of Love Poetry, From Boys to Men - A Literary Anthology of National Service in Singapore and Poetry Billboard.
  
  2) Alvin Pang
  
  Alvin Pang is the author of two Straits Times Top Ten Books of the Year : Testing The Silence (1997), and City of Rain (2003). He is also co-editor of No Other City: The Ethos Anthology of Urban Poetry and Love Gathers All: A Singapore-Filippino Love Poetry Anthology. He has been featured in major publications and festivals around the world, including the Edinburgh International Book Festival. He contributes commentary to The Straits Times, and is a founding director of the Wordfeast international poetry festival and The Literary Centre (Singapore).
  
  3) Eric Low
  
  Eric Low lives and works in singapore in the audio-visual industry; wishes he could live a little more and work a little less. Publication credits include Capsule, Santa Clara Review, Salt River Review, Shampoo and SOFTBLOW.

  Hey, thanks a lot! By the way, I am not a Singaporean. I am an Indonesian Chinese, studying here (in St.Joseph's Institution) because I received a scholarship...
