You know what came to my mind?A musical with a lead singing this in a dark, low-ceilinged shop full of potions and spellbooks, and there is a little boy standing there is rapt amazement.Originally posted by HENG@:You know how sometimes during the period just before u totally fall asleep, but u're not quite awake? How your mind seems to think differently as opposed to when u're conscious? This poem begin itself in my head during one of those times. I somehow managed to remember it, and felt obliged to finish it.

Title: Do You Believe in Magic?
Do you believe in magic?
White rabbits in top hats?
Pretty girls sawn in half?
Tricks and shows and parlour acts?
Do you believe in magic?
Charms and chants all kept in sacks?
Mighty warlocks in darkest armour?
Ladies in scarlet and cats in black?
Do you believe in magic?
Diamonds of power and enchanted pearls?
Runes and symbols that heal or kill?
Boys who sleep and wake up as girls?
Do you believe in magic?
Dolls who come alive at night?
Pretty toadstools in a ring?
Faeries dancing in moonlight?
Do you believe in magic?
In Ragwitch Lilim and evil spells?
Doorways to another place?
Portals unto nineteen hells?
Do you believe in magic?
Ancient ones with dark visions?
Nyarlathotep and the end of the world?
Elder Gods on death missions?
Do you believe in magic?
In strange things unexplainable?
If it happened before your eyes,
Would you run and tumble?
Do you believe in magic?
I must say I do.
I started believing in magic,
When I saw the great Cthulhu.

Title: Death of an Angel
White feathers scattered,
Drifting in the wind.
Drops of black blood,
Stains sparking wings.
Crumpled beauty lies,
Shattered visage of piece.
Darkness glowing brighter,
Light of being cease.
Unspoiled love divine,
Adoring pollution of hate.
Lost innocence of heaven,
Hell's dawn mankind's fate.

I prefer this poem Kinda dark and sad though
Anyway I think it's a nice one. It was contrasted nicely, the play of emotions between sentencesOriginally posted by HENG@:yes i did mean that. Lol darned MS Words. must have typoed when i typed it in and it changed it into "piece" for me!
it does have a tint of Willy Wonka to it doesn't it?Originally posted by LazerLordz:You know what came to my mind?A musical with a lead singing this in a dark, low-ceilinged shop full of potions and spellbooks, and there is a little boy standing there is rapt amazement.
Very lyrical and the rhyme certainly gives it a smooth, fluid motion that resembles the whirring of a broomstick.
thank u. In a way, it basically reflects the emotions I felt when I read the story which inspired it.Originally posted by elindra:Anyway I think it's a nice one. It was contrasted nicely, the play of emotions between sentances
